TEIAS, the official electricity transmission body in Turkey, is partnering with ABB and Astor A.S. Transformator to upgrade the power network with high-value medium voltage (MV) vacuum components. This transition not only aligns Turkey with European emission reduction goals but also futureproofs the power grid.
Through a bespoke solution provided by Astor A.S. Transformator, ABB's P6 VG6-S-K Embedded Pole parts are being deployed in Turkey's predominantly 36kV network. These parts offer superior dielectric behavior, protection against environmental influences, and a compact and lightweight design that facilitates transportation and installation. The collaboration between ABB and Astor A.S. Transformator has not only modernized Turkey's power grid but also established a strong partnership, enabling further circuit breaker developments.
