June 8, 2025 – Jinko ESS has secured a contract to provide 66MWh of energy storage across four sites in the Middle East, using its G2 5MWh liquid-cooled systems to enhance grid stability and renewable energy integration. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in Q3 2025.
Engineered for harsh desert conditions, the G2 system features 94% round-trip efficiency and a 4-hour discharge duration, offering robust performance and strong ROI. Its IP55 protection rating and precision liquid cooling maintain a temperature differential of ±2.5°C between battery cells—critical for safety and fire prevention.
Integrated with Jinko ESS’s AI-powered management platform, the system reduces auxiliary power consumption by 20%, a key advantage in high-temperature operations.
Bright Wang, GM for Jinko ESS APAC, stated: “This project accelerates the region’s energy diversification. Jinko ESS G2 technology delivers certified safety with optimized heat tolerance to support the regional clean energy transition.”
