Madrid, Spain, May 14, 2025 — Power Factors, a provider of renewable energy asset management software, has signed an exclusive partnership agreement with BNZ, an independent power producer focused on renewable energy projects in Europe.
As part of the collaboration, Power Factors will deploy its Unity SCADA and Power Plant Controller (PPC) solutions across BNZ’s renewable energy portfolio. These technologies offer real-time monitoring, performance optimization, and unified asset control for both on-site and remote operations.
The partnership has already resulted in the implementation of Power Factors' technology at six BNZ sites in Spain and Italy, totaling 174 MW of installed capacity. These are the first of many potential projects, with discussions underway to expand the partnership to cover over 1.7 GW of renewable assets across Europe.
This collaboration is a major step in streamlining asset management for BNZ, allowing for centralized oversight and operational efficiency as the company scales. The agreement also sets the stage for future integration of battery energy storage systems (BESS) into BNZ’s operations.
Julieann Esper Rainville, CEO of Power Factors, emphasized the importance of lean operational infrastructure, while Peter Karam, Operations Director at BNZ, highlighted the value of simplifying asset performance management through strategic partnerships.
The partnership aligns with growing interest in clean energy solutions across Europe and supports the goals of Nuveen Infrastructure, under whose portfolio BNZ operates.
